Andrew Kim

Associate

Andrew graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2017, and he graduated from the University of Alberta with a Juris Doctor in 2021. During law school, Andrew was involved with the Student Articling Committee, the Francophone Law Students Association, the Golden Bearristers Law Rugby team, and competed in the Michel Bastarache Moot in Linguistic Rights.

 Andrew articled and practised at a large regional Alberta law firm. Afterwards, Andrew practised at a prominent law firm in the Fraser Valley. Andrew joins Seveny Scott in 2024 to further enhance his labour and employment practice and is excited to represent employees and unions. Andrew’s labour and employment experience includes advising on wrongful dismissal claims, constructive dismissal claims, human rights complaints, reviewing and advising on workplace policies, and reviewing and drafting independent contractor/employment agreements.

Andrew can assist in Spanish and French.

Outside of the office, Andrew enjoys learning new languages, cooking, traveling, and auto-drafting players in his fantasy basketball league.
