Paulette advises and represents employees in all aspects of employment law, including wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, disability claims including accommodation and benefit entitlement, restrictive covenants, and privacy issues. As well, she advises and represents unions and associations in matters relating to labour relations.

Paulette has a strong background in civil litigation especially relating to medical and disability benefit claims. She has appeared before the Alberta Court of Appeal, the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench, and the Provincial Court of Alberta. She has also appeared before the Alberta Labour Relations Board and has an active labour arbitration practice.

Paulette is also a sessional instructor at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) where she teaches labour relation and business law. 

Paulette is admitted to the Law Society of Alberta and the Law Society of the Northwest Territories. 

 In her free time, Paulette enjoys being outside camping, climbing, hiking, skiing, and spending time in the mountains.

Speaking / Publications

Paulette is a frequent presenter, for example with Lancaster House and the Canadian Bar Association. Presentation topics include constructive dismissal, medical and disability claims, accommodation issues, use and role of experts, civil litigation, and advocacy. She is an instructor and facilitator with the Legal Education Society of Alberta in Oral Advocacy and Chambers Practice.
